Kingdom Captures is a photography company founded and run by Melanie, a solo entrepreneur specializing in portraits and real estate photography. As a new business, they needed to establish a strong online presence from the ground up. Their goal was to create a distinct, visually appealing website that would attract their target clientele, showcase their photography portfolio, and guide potential customers toward booking sessions.

The Challenge

Kingdom Captures launched with no existing web presence, so we were tasked with building everything from scratch. Melanie had a clear vision for the site: it needed to feel “beautiful, modern and simple” with a strong emphasis on typography. The heading, in particular, needed to have a “wow” factor that would immediately capture visitors’ attention. The challenge was to translate these aesthetic goals into a functional, high-performing website that would effectively market her brand and drive bookings, all while reflecting her personal style and the quality of her photography work.

The Solution

We built a new, one-page website for Kingdom Captures using WordPress, leveraging an advanced, performance-focused builder (an improvement over heavier options like Elementor) to ensure the site remained fast and optimized. The design leaned into Melanie’s vision with a soft, feminine palette featuring off-white and pinkish hues.

Key features of the solution include:

• Custom Hero Section with Animations: To deliver the requested “wow” factor, we designed an engaging hero area with subtle animations that draw visitors in immediately.
• Showcase Sliders: Custom sliders were implemented to elegantly display Melanie’s portrait and real estate work, allowing the photography to take center stage.
• CRM Integration: We linked the site directly to Melanie’s CRM. Since the forms provided by her services didn’t function or look right when embedded, we opted to link off to them directly. This decision prioritized a seamless customer experience over forcing a subpar feature.
• Typography-First Design: Special attention was paid to font selection and hierarchy to achieve the “beautiful and modern simple” aesthetic Melanie wanted.

The Results

Since launching in January 2026, the site has already received several positive comments from clients, affirming that the design successfully resonates with her audience and positions her brand for success.

Ongoing Partnership

We host the Kingdom Captures website and are providing maintenance services at no cost until Melanie’s Site Care services officially begin later this year. Once activated, the Site Care plan will include ongoing maintenance, updates, improvements and support to ensure her site remains secure, fast, and up-to-date as her business grows.
